Moon Beam Cookies

1 cup butter

3 ounces cream cheese -- softened

1 cup granulated sugar

1 whole egg yolk

1/2 teaspoon vanilla

1/4 teaspoon salt

2 1/2 cups flour

Cream shortening & sugar. Add cream cheese and mix well.

Add egg yolk salt and flour and mix well.

place spoonful on cookie sheet and flatten w/ fork or glass bottom.

bake @ 375 degrees for 15 minutes.

These cookies should be light in color.
